McKay Caston (B.A., M.Div., D.Min., Ph.D.) is a pastor, writer, and speaker whose passion is to help people come alive to the wonder of the gospel by living all of life in view of the cross.
Having served churches in Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia since 1993, McKay ministers as Founding and Lead Pastor for Creekstone Church in Dahlonega, GA, and teaches theology, homiletics, and Greek in his role on the faculty of Metro Atlanta Seminary.
While he has served on staffs of megachurches, as a church planter and pastor of a church of under 200 weekly attendees, he understands the normal sized church… and he loves pastors, sensing a unique camaraderie with others who face similar challenges as pastors in the 90% of churches that are not mega.
He and his wife, Kristy, have three children, 22, 20 and 14.
When not preparing weekly sermons for Creekstone, writing, or spending time with his family or folks in the church, he enjoys exploring the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia.
